Merlin's Trick is the latest of the Merlin's line.  A fine, well covered rich dark brown female tending to black on the points and neck.  Her first fleece tested at 16.7u, 4.0uSD and 23.7%CV.

Her showing successes include two Reserve Champions as an Intermediate female.

Camelot Ivoire has been the backbone of our herd. An Auzengate daughter out of one of our imported females, Ivoire produces progeny of impeccable confirmation, style and gentle nature. Her first cria, Camelot Tor took out 5 Supreme Championships before topping the National Sale in 2006. He has since gone on to win multiple Supreme Championships for Flowerdale Alpaca Stud. Ivoire has predominantly produced daughters and up until now, except for one, all have been retained.

Joining Camelot Ivoire to a dark brown son of Parnabrae Brutus was the beginning of our journey to produce coloured animals with superior fibre charateristics. 'Blossom' epitomises the 'broodmare' type with superb maternal traits; a large bodied, fuss free female with her dam's gentle nature. She carries the Ivoire style and produces beautiful progeny (these all carry the Merlin's name). Her latest, Merlin's Trick recently won Reserve Champion Intermediate female at the Ballarat Show 2011.

Camelot Avalon is our best breeding female for elite fibre characteristics. She is the very first progeny of Camelot Tor, combining the best of Tor's coverage and style with our Accoyo line's silky handle and fineness. Her fleece is very even, exhibiting almost merino-type, fine crimpy staples. She took out Champion Fleece at the 2010 Royal Melbourne Show and the year previously, had taken out Champion Huacaya Fleece at the Sheep & Wool Show.

Merlin’s Gift has a stunning presence! She has incredible density and coverage with even crimp definition. As a junior, she was awarded first at Ballarat Show and her 1st and 2nd fleeces have won their classes.

Isolde is the result of sourcing Jolimont Attitude genetics which worked so well with Camelot Ivoire to produce Camelot Tor. Isolde is a neat, smaller framed female, probably the finest of all of Ivoire’s daughters. She carries a higher frequency crimp style in a bright white fleece. Isolde has produced a smart SW cria to Jolimont Alessio and is mated to Windsong Valley Highland Chief (SLF), due early in 2012.

Enchantment is a most appealing young female with exceptional coverage and density. Her first cria Camelot Pendragon has just started his show career with blue ribbons and a best of colour. Enchantment is joined to Windsong Valley Highland Chief (SLF) and is due in December 2011.

Another of Camelot Ivoire’s daughter, this time to Windsong Valley Iceman. Amene is a stylish young female carrying her dam’s characteristic stamp of perfect confirmation. Amene’s fleece has a bolder, deep crimping style that is lustrous and with good staple length. Pregnancy is yet to be confirmed to Windsong Valley Highland Chief (SLF).

The latest Ivoire progeny, Ellen is a delight! She has a very personable nature and a real ‘showiness’. A similar bold, deep crimping style to her sister Amene and pumping out good length. She is a borderline white/light fawn. Given the wet season, her first shearing is yet to come, and so no fibre figures are available.

Enide is Camelot Avalon’s second cria. Her sire, Jolimont Alessio is a son of Jolimont Sculptor. Enide has an exceptionally soft handling fleece with higher definition crimping style like her dam. Like Camelot Ellen, we will have fibre results later this year.
